Downtown Bozeman Explosion

About a week ago, a gas leak caused Boodles to explode. By the end of the day the Rockin'R, American Legion, Starky's, Montana Rug Gallery and a baby clothing store were all destroyed. The Owner of Montana Rug Gallery was killed and,suprisingly, there were no other people injured.

Spring Semester 2009

Lookin Spiffy!

Our friend Jessica was leaving to finish her Nursing degree in Billings, so we had a formal going away party for her. I have to admit, our friends clean up rather nicely!

Blazzin' Challenge...Kandi is the Victor!!

Buffalo Wild Wings is a new sports bar in town and our absolute favorite place to go. Usually, we go out with some friends every Tuesday night for forty cent wing night. Owen and I did the Blazzin' Challenge and got our pictures on their wall of fame. We had to each eat 12 of their hottest wings in under 6 minutes. Owen's time was 2:51 and mine was 2:44.

Busy Semester!

We have been really busy these last few months!
It seems like this semester has just flown by, so I'll Alex Rehmer and the Hot Potato Children
start at the beginning to fill you all in.


The summer ended with a few ARHPC shows, all of which were fun. Scott went to grad school in Ohio, so the band was out of a bassist and is currently on hiatus.
This was a show they did at the Pike house, a Frat house on campus.

Summer is Almost Over:(

We have been really busy these last few weeks. We recently moved into a really nice apartment! It is quite a ways away from campus...but it has a washer and a dryer so I'm not going to complain:) This is our new kitchen..I have been washing everything I can get my hands on!

We went home over the weekend, mom had surgery on Wednesday and is already up and moving. She is planning on going back to work this week, what a trooper.





Owen's mom, Ellen, is moving too! She bought a house with a barn so that she can have her horses with her. The new house is just down the road from where I grew up on Store Ln. While helping his mom remove shutters from her new house, Owen and Ellen battled an epic swarm of bees. It was pretty entertaining watching Owen do the bob and weave all over the yard.

Mom just got home from spending two and a half weeks in Pueblo with Russ and Lyndsey & the baby. Her mission was to send me pictures, but she failed:) Russ, however, would send me a few pictures a day of the baby making the funniest faces. Mom said that Russ really has a way with her and that Lyndz is a great mommy, I am sure they are both great parents!

Spring Break 2008

Making Memories

For Spring Break, Owen and I went to Corvallis, OR to see his big sister Jessye who has just had brain surgery. She took good care of us and we had a great time. We went to a really fancy resaraunt and had THE MOST AMAZING brunch - unlimited seafood, and mamosas...it was quite fun. We also spent a most of a day playing on the beach and going to the aquarium- it was a great vacation.

BaBy LoVe!

Kennedee is finally here! My beautiful niece Kennedee Elayne Raymond was born 6/24/2008! She is beautiful and has two of the best parents a little girl could get! Look!

She was just a few hours old here and she is already so bright-eyed! Our family was pretty sad that we couldn't be there to welcome her into the world, but Russ makes sure we get a bunch of pictures throughout the day so we don't miss out on anything.

This month has flown by for us. For a little while we were the epitome of "starving college students" but we managed to survive. Owen and Damon are currently in Chicago attending a friends wedding- they rented a Cadalac Convertable for the drive over...I might be a little bitter.

So since they are gone, I have had the responsibility of entertaining my self. I watch Ghost Hunters at night until I am so scared that I cant go to sleep until I know the house is properly booby trapped. I have fallen victim of my own booby trapps a few times now! I am excited for them to come back so I dont have to prepare the house for battle every night.
