Our Last Night

The view from our 23rd Floor hotel room was absolutely amazing!
We ate dinner at the Crab Pot! I have never had so much fun with food- my kind of eating!

I had to have my picture taken because I have never been in a taxi before and was very excited. However, the cab driver took advantage of our "Montananess" and charged us $10 for a trip that was a grand total of three blocks...we even tipped him:\

The W!

My uncle Harvey is the Chief Engineer at The W Hotel, right in downtown Seattle. Thanks to him, we got to spend the night at the 5 star hotel for free and enjoy one more night in Seattle before heading home to MT.

The boys had to try on the robes and talk about very important things- because that is what you do when staying at a 5 star hotel.

We did the dancing...

We all had a great time and were the only ones left on the dance floor at the end of the night! Owen, Scotty and Johnson had some pretty impressive moves.

The Reception!!

I am not sure what this little girl's name is, but we became dancing buddies all night long!

The decorations were very pretty, and the food was amazing!

First dance as husband and wife!

The Wedding!!!

Josh and Leslie had a beautiful wedding! They had one of those " whatever can go wrong today will" kind of days, but they managed to pull it off and it was pretty close to perfect!

Free Time

We had a great time! There was lots of good food, drinks, sleep etc!

This is how we felt when we heard Michael Jackson had died. Sad day!

Oh Canada...

Canada was beautiful! It reminded me of the Bitterroot Valley, very green and huge mountains.

We had to go to Wal-Mart and see if it was true...South Park makes fun of Canadians for calling Mac & Cheese Kraft Dinnahh.

The Border!!! I was so excited but was not prepared for how serious those border patrol people are! FYI- not a good time for jokes:)

On The Wharf

We ate lunch on the wharf at a pirate-ship like diner.

Pike's Place Market

Pike's Place Market was awesome! It was so colorful and unfortunatley, these pictures do not do it justice.

Our Vacation!

We were fortunate enough to be able to take a vacation this summer! We spent a few days playing in Seattle on our way to Chilliwack, BC for Leslie and Josh Young's wedding.

Seattle was AMAZING! We did all of the touristy stuff.

The view from the Space Needle was beautiful, especially as it got darker.

We ate at Zeek's our first night in the city. Good, good food!!!

Catching Up

We finally got our kitty!! This is Sophie. Owen suprised me for my birthday with her. She is very sweet, although right now we think she is going through her angsty teens:)

She is very
talkative for a
cat. If you talk to her she will meow right back to you, which is really cute except for when it is early in the morning.

She loves to drink out of the sink and has a little green monster toy that she carries around in her mouth everywhere she goes.
