Summer is Almost Over:(

We have been really busy these last few weeks. We recently moved into a really nice apartment! It is quite a ways away from campus...but it has a washer and a dryer so I'm not going to complain:) This is our new kitchen..I have been washing everything I can get my hands on!

We went home over the weekend, mom had surgery on Wednesday and is already up and moving. She is planning on going back to work this week, what a trooper.

Owen's mom, Ellen, is moving too! She bought a house with a barn so that she can have her horses with her. The new house is just down the road from where I grew up on Store Ln. While helping his mom remove shutters from her new house, Owen and Ellen battled an epic swarm of bees. It was pretty entertaining watching Owen do the bob and weave all over the yard.

Mom just got home from spending two and a half weeks in Pueblo with Russ and Lyndsey & the baby. Her mission was to send me pictures, but she failed:) Russ, however, would send me a few pictures a day of the baby making the funniest faces. Mom said that Russ really has a way with her and that Lyndz is a great mommy, I am sure they are both great parents!

Spring Break 2008

Making Memories

For Spring Break, Owen and I went to Corvallis, OR to see his big sister Jessye who has just had brain surgery. She took good care of us and we had a great time. We went to a really fancy resaraunt and had THE MOST AMAZING brunch - unlimited seafood, and mamosas...it was quite fun. We also spent a most of a day playing on the beach and going to the aquarium- it was a great vacation.

BaBy LoVe!

Kennedee is finally here! My beautiful niece Kennedee Elayne Raymond was born 6/24/2008! She is beautiful and has two of the best parents a little girl could get! Look!

She was just a few hours old here and she is already so bright-eyed! Our family was pretty sad that we couldn't be there to welcome her into the world, but Russ makes sure we get a bunch of pictures throughout the day so we don't miss out on anything.

This month has flown by for us. For a little while we were the epitome of "starving college students" but we managed to survive. Owen and Damon are currently in Chicago attending a friends wedding- they rented a Cadalac Convertable for the drive over...I might be a little bitter.

So since they are gone, I have had the responsibility of entertaining my self. I watch Ghost Hunters at night until I am so scared that I cant go to sleep until I know the house is properly booby trapped. I have fallen victim of my own booby trapps a few times now! I am excited for them to come back so I dont have to prepare the house for battle every night.

Summer...ish

We have just finished moving/merging and it was quite a task! This summer we are staying in Bozeman and our good friend Damon "Des" is going to be staying with us. Owen and Des have been friends since they were little and have quite the time together, its going to be a great summer!

Here is what we have been up to all year:

Not a lot:) Owen has been the lead singer of the band Alex Rehmer and the Hot Potatoe Children for the last year. They are creating quite a fan base here in Bozeman. All of the guys in the band are from Gardiner, where O and Des are from, so they are all a great group of boys! Besides playing music, Owen has continued to work toward a degree in Media/ Theatre Arts here at MSU. Next semester he is picking up a minor in Music Technology.

I am close to finishing my degree in Psychology and am planning on Grad school immediately after graduation. I have a great job at the Dean of Students office where I am an FYI Advisor.

This summer, Owen will be working for a private landscaping company in Big Sky and I will be working full time at the office. This summer we are hoping ( I am doing most of the hoping) to get a puppy!
